Who we are

Northern Beaches Removalists (registered business name: Northern Beaches Removalists Services), 46 Palomar Parade, Freshwater NSW 2096. Phone 0451 095 817, email bookings@northernbeachesremovalists.com.au. We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

• Details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, pick-up and delivery addresses, property type, number of bedrooms, how much you're moving, your move date, and anything you write in a message, by phone, email or chat.
• Booking and payment details: what you book, your deposit and payments. Card and Afterpay payments are processed by the payment provider; we don't store full card numbers.
• How you found us and used the website: the page you came from, campaign codes in the link (for example UTM tags and the Google Ads click ID), pages viewed, device and browser information, collected with cookies and similar tools.

How we use it

• To prepare your quote or estimate, plan your move and contact you about it.
• To take your booking, deposit and payment, and to provide removals, packing, storage and cleaning.
• To answer questions, handle claims or complaints, and keep business records.
• To understand which ads and pages bring enquiries, and to improve our website and advertising.

We don't sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

• MovePro, the booking and quoting system we use to manage enquiries, quotes and jobs.
• Our crew and cleaners, who need your addresses, contact details and job details to do the work.
• Website and marketing services: Google (Analytics, Ads, Maps, reCAPTCHA and email), Meta (Facebook), Microsoft Clarity and HubSpot, which help us run the website, measure enquiries and protect our forms from spam.
• Payment providers, including Afterpay if you choose to pay with it.
• Insurance partners, only if you ask us to arrange cover for your belongings.
• Anyone we're required to share it with by law.

Some of these providers store information outside Australia, for example in the United States.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies to make it work, to remember your choices, and to measure visits and ad performance (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta and Microsoft Clarity). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the website will still work, but some features may not.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask a question or make a complaint about how we handle it, by contacting us on 0451 095 817 or at bookings@northernbeachesremovalists.com.au. We'll respond within a reasonable time. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
