Call-out time for Freshwater

Our depot is in Freshwater, so for a move within Freshwater or to a nearby suburb the drive is short and the 30-minute minimum call-out applies. Call-out is the drive time from our depot to the furthest of your two addresses, charged once at your crew's hourly rate, so a move from Freshwater to the upper beaches has a longer call-out. We work it out for you when we quote.

Moving in Freshwater: what to plan for

We move houses, townhouses and apartments in Freshwater, and most of our Freshwater jobs are apartments with tricky access. A few things make moving day faster, and so cheaper:

  • Steep driveways and no truck access: where the truck can't park close to your door, we use a ute to ferry your things safely between your home and the truck. The ute is charged separately: $250 + GST ($275 incl. GST) for the day.
  • Parking: if you can, reserve a spot for the truck near your entrance the day before – park your own car there, or let your neighbours know.
  • Apartment lifts: some buildings ask new residents to book the lift for moving day. Check with your strata or building manager before your move.
  • Stairs and long carries: they add time, not separate fees.

Yes. Call-out is the drive time from our Freshwater depot to the furthest of your two addresses, with a minimum of 30 minutes, charged at your crew's hourly rate. For moves within Freshwater the minimum usually applies.

Where are you based and when are you open?

Where a steep driveway or a tight street stops the truck getting close, we use a ute to ferry your things safely between your door and the truck. Yes. Move-out or move-in cleaning is $80 + GST per hour with 1 cleaner or $140 + GST per hour with 2 cleaners (10% more on Sundays), and we can book it alongside your move.
